We currently have two offices to serve you in Los Angeles.  The main office currently provides comprehensive plastic surgery services and contains a fully-accredited AAAHC certified surgical suite that is equipped to perform surgical procedures under general anesthesia or conscious sedation.  All complex cases are staffed with a board certified anesthesiologist who is hand-selected by Dr. Karamanoukian.

Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian is a double board certified plastic surgeon with an phenomenal aesthetic eye and outstanding surgical expertise and technique.  He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine and completed seven years of intensive post-graduate training in general surgery and plastic surgery.  He dedicates himself to cosmetic surgery, but is proficient in complex cancer reconstruction, hand surgery, and reconstructive surgery for complex venous malformations and disease.   He has acquired additional expertise in cancer reconstruction and rhinoplasty in Europe and Asia.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS AND CLINICAL APPOINTMENT IN PLASTIC SURGERY: 

Dr. Karamanoukian is Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine Department of Plastic Surgery. He is the author of several textbooks in surgery and has personally authored numerous academic papers that have been published in nationally-renowned journals and academic publications in surgery and plastic surgery.  In 2006, he was the first surgeon in the world to introduce the concept of robotic-assisted microsurgery for complex cancer reconstruction. Feasibility of robotic-assisted microvascular anastomoses in plastic surgery.
