BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON IN LA, DR. RAFFY KARAMANOUKIAN

 

Dr. Karamanoukian is a distinguished plastic surgeon practicing in Santa Monica and Los Angeles, California.  He completed his undergraduate and medical education at UCLA and completed four years of general surgery training at the University of California, San Diego.  He completed his surgical training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Irvine medical center.  


Dr. Karamanoukian is a double board certified surgeon with expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, cancer reconstruction,  hand surgery, and the surgical management of complex venous disorders.  He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine Department of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Karamanoukian was recently presented with a letter of commendation by the Director of the Red Cross in Mexico  (Cruz Roja Mexicana) for his generosity and assistance.  


In December 2009, Dr. Karamanoukian was awarded with a letter of commendation from the Director of the General Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico for his generous support of the institution.  Dr. Karamanoukian organized the donation of critical medical and surgical equipment to the hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Burn Units, Cardiothoracic Surgery Units, and the general clinics.
