ACTINIC KERATOSIS CARE WITH LOS ANGELES SKIN CANCER EXPERT
Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, is now thought to be useful in the management of actinic keratosis. A 3% diclofenac gel applied twice daily to the skin has shown to improve actinic keratosis lesions by up to 91%. The exact mechanism is unknown, but the product adds significant value to the management of actinic keratosis because diclofenac does not cause the peeling, burning, and cracking of skin that is common with 5-FU, Efudex, and other topical treatments.
