Acne Photofacials are becoming increasingly popular with patients who prefer a non-medication based, natural approach to acne reduction.  Although many of the traditional medications to treat acne are considered safe and time-proven, patient preference fuels the need to provide a non-medication based alternative to benzoyl peroxide, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, proactiv-type acne medications.  Acne photofacials work by using natural light to eradicate and control acne causing bacteria.  The process is fairly simple and cam be expanded to include laser photofacials that are more potent per treatment.
